Titanic Experience

Being a big history lover, I was extremely interested in seeing what this Titanic Experience Museum was all about. There was no way to forsee what was going to happen to this mighty vessel, so how did people know to document everything? My cousin, and friends from Ireland told us that it was a fun sight to go to but that it was fairly new to Cobh. Apparently locals did not think that it was something special or to be proud of until recently. This beautiful and lively town see's all sorts of cruise ships coming in and out of port. It must be as if the Titanic was just another one. The museum really shows the recognition of how special Cobh is to have been honored as the final port of the Titanic. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside the museum, but it was so interesting and full of information! A guide will take you through the museum after you receive a ticket with an actual Titanic passengers name on it. At the end of the tour you find out about your person in an interactive touch screen. I don't want to spoil it, but the facts that are involved in this tour are by the millions. It is right to keep in mind though there was hardly any artifacts, pictures, or records kept from 1912. The only photos are taken by an amateur photographer priest who was meant to sail on the Titanic but was called off in Cobh by the church for a new order. After wandering through the museum, you are able to eat in the Titanic Cafe downstairs. It is right on the pier from where the actual passengers left to be towed to the massive ship. I would expect a place like this to be very touristy and maybe not showcase as much of local food. I was wrong. While sitting there, there was a family who said they come here as a treat sometimes. I had Fish and Chips (how could I not right on the ocean?!?!) AND they were incredible. The skin was even still on the fish to pack in as much flavor. Everything was delicious and for a reasonable price as well. So now I get to say I ate Fish and Chips on the final dock of the Titanic.

Siendo un amante de la historia grande, yo estaba muy interesado en ver lo que esta experiencia Museo Titanic trataba. No había manera de forsee lo que iba a suceder a este gran buque, así que cómo la gente sabe de documentar todo? Mi primo y amigos de Irlanda nos dijeron que era un espectáculo divertido para ir, pero que era bastante nuevo en Cobh. No nos permitieron tomar fotografías dentro del museo, pero era tan interesante y lleno de información! Un guía le llevará a través del museo después de recibir un boleto con un real Titanic pasajeros nombre en él. Al final de la gira a averiguar acerca de su persona en una pantalla táctil interactiva. No quiero echarlo a perder, pero los hechos que están involucrados en esta gira son por millones. La piel era aún siguen en el pez para empacar en tanto sabor. Todo estaba delicioso y por un precio razonable también. Así que ahora tengo que decir que me comí pescado y patatas fritas en el muelle final del Titanic.
